Gay Stott is the leading light behind Swag-bag. As a mother of 3 teenage daughters, the problems of storing costume jewellery and trying to find it in a hurry were acute. As an emergency solution, nails had been hammered into wardrobe doors – effective but unattractive! There had to be a better way. Ideas evolved. Prototypes made and re-made and finally, Swag-bag became a reality and tangled jewellery became a thing of the past. Sue Rutherford is mother to a teenage son and daughter. With a large selection of costume jewellery accumulated over years and a background in Marketing and PR, when Gay approached her with the business idea it seemed the perfect opportunity to finally store and organise her own jewellery collection. In filling several Swag-bags, she discovered items of jewellery hidden away in drawers which are now beautifully displayed and ready to use. Chaos continues to reign in the rest of the house, but at least her jewellery collection is tidy and organised! From conception to delivery, Swag-bag has taken longer than the customary nine months. However, we believe the wait has been worthwhile. We hope that you enjoy using your Swag-bag as much as we do and would love to hear from you. |

Swag-bag was designed by two women who were looking to solve a problem: how to store and organise jewellery effectively. With four teenage daughters between them, jewellery was forever getting lost, tangled or broken. It was never in the right place at the right time!
